On this International Women’s Day, I want to take a moment to express my deep gratitude and admiration for the women who have profoundly shaped my journey—both personally and professionally.

Dr. Kimberly Figaro, Joyce Wallace, Ollie Gilstrap, Dr. Sandra Reid, Dr. Sharon Price, Dr. Cicely Jefferson, Brenda Sanders, and of course, my wife, Stephanie Gates Sloan—each of you has inspired me, challenged me, and pushed me beyond my comfort zone. Because of your encouragement and belief in me, I took the leap to pursue my MBA, step into a new career, and commit to lifelong learning and growth.

Your leadership, wisdom, and resilience are a testament to the power of diverse perspectives. You have shown me firsthand how different ways of thinking, leading, and problem-solving make us all stronger. Your guidance has not only shaped my path but also reinforced my commitment to using my skills to serve and uplift others.

Today, I celebrate you—and all the women who lead with courage, insight, and compassion. Thank you for your unwavering support and for challenging me to bring my best to every opportunity.

Who are the women who have inspired your journey? Let’s celebrate them today.
